About Our HR Team The HR Team supports our Tampa Corporate office employees (about 300 employees). Our team structure consists of three HR Business Partners (all reporting to the HR Manager). This role partners with our HR Centers of Excellence to help support our employees. The HR Business Partner’s role is to develop and guide our leaders in making the best decisions regarding our People. This role is essential in cultivating a winning culture at our company.
This Is Your Purpose We are looking for an HR Business Partner to assist in attraction, engagement, development, and retention of our most valuable asset, our People. Your purpose is to help ensure we are providing an excellent employee experience while continuously improving our Culture through our Principles.
Responsibilities Recruitment & Selection: Support recruitment efforts for open positions and assist hiring managers in the selection process from cultural fit, competency, and behavior standpoints.
Onboarding & Orientation: Support new hires in the onboarding process and facilitate new hire orientation.
Engagement: Support leaders with Employee Opinion Survey action plans and improve collaboration and culture within their teams through coaching.
Communications: Coordinate employee communication to promote understanding of programs, policies, and objectives.
Training and Development: Identify training needs and work with the corporate training team to implement programs and facilitate training sessions locally when applicable.
Goal Setting: Develop department goals and objectives, evaluate reports, decisions, and results, and recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures for continual improvement.
Career & Succession (C&S): Coordinate C&S cycles, local People Development Committees, surveys, and competency assessments; ensure strong succession pipeline.
Compensation: Ensure uniform interpretation and application of wage and salary policy, maintain accurate job descriptions, and communicate compensation opportunities.
Benefits: Administer benefits and communicate benefits information; support employees with leave of absence questions.
Employee Services: Maintain accurate and confidential employee data and resolve concerns related to Payroll, Time & Attendance, HRIS, etc.
Employee Relations: Counsel leaders on employee relations matters, conduct investigations, and mediate between employees and leaders.
Performance Management: Coordinate performance reviews and improvement processes for all employees.
HR Policies/Procedures: Administer HR plans and procedures, assist in policy development and implementation.
Compliance: Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations regarding employment.
Separation: Facilitate separation of employment as needed for voluntary and involuntary separations.
Record Keeping: Establish and maintain personnel records using SAP Success Factors.
What You Have Bachelor’s Degree required in human resources, business administration, or related field.
5-7 years of related experience.
Knowledge of principles and practices of HR administration.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Preferred certifications: PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP.
