Position Summary:

The Recruiting & Employee Care Manager reports directly to the Administrator and serves as a vital leader within the office. This dual-focus role is responsible for the full lifecycle of the employee experience: from sourcing and hiring high-quality caregivers to managing human resources, professional development, and long-term retention. You will be instrumental in fostering a positive office culture where caregivers feel valued, supported, and motivated to grow.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment:

  • Drive daily recruiting efforts to consistently bring new caregivers into the business.
  • Manage job postings, phone screenings, in-person interviews, and reference checks.
  • Identify and develop new recruiting sources to expand the talent pipeline.
  • Oversee the hiring process, including background screenings and final hiring recommendations.

Employee Care & Human Resources:

  • Manage the current caregiver roster, including disciplinary actions and performance reviews.
  • Maintain comprehensive personnel files, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company policies.
  • Track certifications, tax data, attendance, and benefits; process data for payroll use.
  • Develop and execute a robust retention plan to enhance employee satisfaction and morale.

Training & Compliance:

  • Lead new employee orientations and schedule routine in-service training.
  • Utilize the Care Academy training platform to manage post-hire education and professional development.
  • Prepare and file reports for any workplace accidents or injuries.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation to provide after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Two years supervisory or management experience in home care or other health-related setting. (preferred)
  • Experience working in a high-volume staffing environment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of human resources management.
  • Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing, and making hiring decisions.
  • Proficient in computer skills, applications, phone etiquette, email, etc. (Google Suite, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Must possess leadership skills, human relations abilities, customer satisfactions skills, and organizational skills.
  • Professional attitude, both in person and on the phone.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a focus on human relations and customer satisfaction.
  • Bilingual - Spanish is preferred.
  • Detail-oriented. Must be able to accurately enter data with excellent attention to detail.
  • Well-honed time management skills.
  • Must be able to handle difficult situations with good judgment and possess personal integrity.
  • Background clearance required.

This job description is not intended to be all inclusive. The employee will be expected to perform other reasonable duties as assigned. Annual pay is $41,600 to $51,000 Depending on Experience
