Job Overview:
A well-established law firm is seeking a Senior Family Law Attorney with at least 10 years of prior experience in family law practice in Texas. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic and creative approach to handling family law cases, focusing on providing clients with a collaborative, non-adversarial experience. This attorney will help clients navigate through challenging transitions with solutions aligned with their core values. The role emphasizes mentorship, case management, and active participation in firm development and client outreach. Location: Duties: Work proactively with the production team to ensure efficient client case handling. Develop unique, creative strategies tailored to achieving clients goals in alignment with their core values. Manage daily workflow for self and the production team to ensure timely handling of client matters. Track case dockets, events, and deadlines, ensuring adherence to timelines for time-sensitive tasks. Advocate for clients in hearings, trials, conferences, and mediations, staying true to the firm's mission. Mentor associates and paralegals, fostering their professional growth and skill development. Ensure accurate billing and timely review of client invoices. Participate in networking events to spread awareness of the firms non-adversarial approach. Engage in continuing professional development through CLE, seminars, and workshops. Comply with all legal standards and firm policies. Requirements: At least 10 years of experience in family law in Texas. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with others. Proven history of proactively managing cases and driving them toward resolution. Ability to create innovative, client-focused solutions in family law matters. Experience in mediation and negotiation with a reputation for resolving disputes amicably. Strong interpersonal skills, including a cooperative approach to minimize conflict. A good sense of humor to fit in with the teams dynamic. Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications: Licensed to practice law in Texas. Skills: Expertise in family law, including divorce, custody, and mediation. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. Proficiency in case management and legal strategy. Ability to mentor junior attorneys and support staff. Innovative and creative problem-solving approach. Paid holidays (11 per year, immediate eligibility). Paid time off (PTO - 90 days).
