Key Responsibilities Prepare the operatory with the necessary instruments and materials for scheduled dental procedures. Assist the dentist during treatment by providing instruments, materials, retraction, or suction as needed. Sterilize dental instruments and disinfect the operatory between patient visits. Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate records. Perform laboratory tasks, including mixing impression material for dentures, and assist with prosthetic dentistry procedures. Develop and mount routine radiographs to aid in dental assessments and treatment planning. Maintain and update dental charts and records, documenting findings accurately. Follow security regulations for keys, sharps, and controlled substances, ensuring a safe environment. Participate in disaster drills and adhere to YesCare’s safety and security policies. Adhere to Universal Precautions and infection control practices to ensure patient and staff safety. Inventory and order dental supplies to maintain proper stock levels for continuous operation. Key Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred. Current CPR certification required. Subject to initial and ongoing security clearance requirements. Must pass a background check, security clearance, and drug screening.
