Description TRAVELING REQUIRED-This position is Monday, Wednesday and Thursdays-Covering our Sarasota, Bradenton, and St Pete location Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dental Assistant with a strong focus on endodontics to support our endodontist in delivering high-quality root canal therapy and related procedures. The ideal candidate is experienced in assisting during complex endodontic treatments, maintaining a sterile environment, and providing a calm, supportive presence for patients undergoing microsurgical and non-surgical procedures. Key Responsibilities: Assist the endodontist during root canals, apicoectomies, and retreatments Set up and break down operatories with strict adherence to infection control protocols Take and mount high-quality digital periapical and CBCT radiographs Maintain and disinfect endodontic instruments and equipment, including rotary systems and microscopes Manage and update patient records accurately in the dental software Educate patients pre- and post-treatment on procedures and care instructions Maintain inventory and order endodontic-specific supplies Ensure the operatory is fully stocked, clean, and organized at all times Provide chairside support using four-handed dentistry techniques Support sedation or anxiety management protocols when necessary Requirements Current Dental Assistant certification Radiology certification Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience (Endodontic/OS experience required) Familiarity with endodontic tools (e.g., rubber dam, apex locator, rotary systems, microscopes) Knowledge of dental software systems (Dentrix) #J-18808-Ljbffr
