Phlebotomist II – Quest Diagnostics – Tulare, CA (Full‑time)
Schedule & Pay
Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM (rotational weekends). Pay range: $20.35–$23.40 per hour. Successful candidates may be eligible for annual performance‑bonus compensation.
Licensing
State phlebotomy license required. Quest does not accept National Healthcare Association (NHA) licenses in California, Washington, or Nevada.

Responsibilities
Collect specimens per established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams)
Administer oral solutions per training
Research, confirm, and verify orders using lab technology systems, client contact, and approved tools
Accurately enter data into computer systems
Obtain identification, enter billing information, and collect payments when required
Process specimens (label, centrifuge, aliquot, freeze, and prepare for transport)
Perform non‑patient‑facing duties (inventory, supplies, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, using email)
Read and comply with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures
Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data
Maintain phlebotomy logs (maintenance, temperature)
Complete online and in‑person training courses on time
Qualifications
Three years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
Keyboard/data‑entry experience
Flexible availability (weekends, holidays, on‑call, overtime)
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record (if applicable)
High school diploma or equivalent
Medical training preferred (medical assistant or paramedic)
Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington
Effective communication in English
