Responsibilities Supervise laboratory non‑technical personnel and daily operations. Supervise personnel, processes, service levels, and regulatory compliance; oversee specimen collection, processing and referral testing. Achieve department goals for service, quality, regulatory compliance, financial performance, personnel management, patient satisfaction, healthy work environment, and integration of intra‑ and inter‑departmental activities. Screen, interview and select qualified individuals for open positions within the department. Review and approve payroll time sheets, purchasing requisitions, check requests, and scheduling requests. Conduct performance evaluations for all staff under direct supervision. Qualifications H.S. Diploma or GED required; vocational or technical education is helpful. 3–5 years’ experience in specimen collection or processing. Clinical laboratory experience preferred.
