Responsibilities Safely operate a tractor/trailer (automatic Volvo, International or Freightliner; diesel/natural gas) and transport products to and from specified destinations in accordance with FMCSA regulations. Perform loading/unloading of trailers (manual, palletized, or two‑wheeler) and lift items overhead. Deliver chips, dips, and other products to grocery stores, manufacturing facilities, storage units, and traffic centers. Obtain signatures of receipt, pick up returns, and complete logs and paperwork related to deliveries; review invoices and manifests. Use an electronic logging device such as a tablet or onboard computer. Maintain pre‑ and post‑trip truck inspections. Work up to legal FMCSA limits, including overnight trips, weekdays, weekends, and holidays, with varying daily schedules. Bid on routes via a seniority‑based electronic bid board. Requirements Valid Class "A" commercial driver’s license. At least 100,000 verifiable accident‑free miles or 2,500 accident‑free hours. Availability to work weekends and holidays. Ability to lift 15–50 pounds and perform standing, walking, carrying, pushing, pulling, sitting, and driving for extended periods (up to 14 hours a day, 11 hours driving).
