Financial Data Analyst page is loaded## Financial Data Analystlocations: Belgium - Flemish Brabant - Zaventemtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: 31136290## **JOB DESCRIPTION:**We are currently recruiting for a **Financial Data Analyst EMEA APAC** for our Heart Failure division to be based in our EMEA & APAC HQ in Zaventem, BelgiumThe Data Analyst position is a critical role to enable the commercial and financial leadership to drive systematic data support and data-based decision making for all topics having a direct impact on the financial success of the business unit.It includes sales- and margin reporting, SG&A cost reporting & analysis, consolidation of large & complex data sets, ad-hoc data analysis as well as systematic data support.In addition, the Analyst acts as a true business partner to the regional finance teams, helping them develop & maintain adequate reporting, including creation of new standards, that drive financial analysis & insights for them as well as for the commercial leadership teams.**What You’ll Do:*** Review existing reporting and provide proposal for centralisation, simplification & optimisation which meets the needs of the financial & commercial leadership teams* Implement reporting & data solutions that help predict, improve and measure the success of key business outcomes with Abbott’s preferred tools: Power BI & Excel among others* Supporting HQ & regional finance teams on consolidation of data & data analytics* Maintenance of the reports & data systems in place and be the person of contact for data questions of stakeholders* Based on the reporting solutions in place provide analysis, insights & points of attention to regional and global management* Provide training to support the adoption and maintain documentation on processes and rules* Drive data accuracy, transparency, and standardization to support the business on forward-looking decision making* Active participation in improvement projects* Work with large, complex data sets to support consolidation and implementation of data solutions**What You’ll Need:*** Bachelor or master degree preferably in Finance, Business administration or Economics.* Business & financial analytics experience* PowerBI & excel knowledge required* Related experience in the medical device or life sciences industry advantageous* Good experience with SAP ERP and Hyperion Planning/Essbase systems preferred.* You like working with large, complex data sets* High accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail.* Proven analytical and problem-solving skills* Strong Business Partnering skills* Self-motivated and pro-active, setting high standards for success.* Fluency in English**What We Offer*** A dynamic and inclusive work environment* Opportunities for professional growth within a global organization* Competitive compensation and benefits package**Diversity & Inclusion** At Abbott, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
