About The Role The Warehouse position in Talladega, AL is a critical role focused on ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods within the facility. The successful candidate will maintain inventory accuracy, organize stock, and prepare orders for shipment to meet customer demands. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential. The warehouse associate collaborates with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow and support operational goals, directly contributing to overall supply chain effectiveness and customer satisfaction. Minimum Qualifications Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds regularly. Basic math skills and ability to read and understand shipping documents. Prior warehouse or similar experience preferred but not required. Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a team setting. Preferred Qualifications Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse machinery. Familiarity with inventory management software or warehouse management systems (WMS). Experience with Profit21. Class A CDL (not required). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors. Experience in a fast‑paced warehouse environment. Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists. Organize and store inventory in designated locations to maximize space and accessibility. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards and customer requirements. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse to comply with safety and operational guidelines. Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies to management. Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets and deadlines. Skills Basic math, physical stamina, safety awareness, forklift operation, familiarity with WMS, strong organizational and communication skills.
