I & E Construction is hiring: Heavy Equipment Operator in Oregon

RESPONSIBILITIES Operates Machines of varying sizes and types: Loaders Excavators Dozers Scrapers Haul Trucks Compactors Loaders Performs duties related to earthwork: Mass earthwork Loading of hauling vehicles Fine grading Compacting Placing materials Follow directions of Foreman as to daily tasks and expectations. Ensures that safety, compliance, environmental, and OSHA and MSHA requirements are always followed Performs other duties as assigned. Loads trucks and maintains proper quantities of material to be loaded. Working closely with a team QUALIFICATIONS +3 years’ experience operating heavy equipment. Ability to lift or carry 50lbs. Good communication skills. Valid Driver’s License & Clean Driving Record. Pass a Pre-employment & Drug Screen. Willingness to take direction, work hard and learn. Knowledgeable & Competency with each machine type and fuel type. Be able to recognize mechanical issues and take action to avoid additional damage.
