Nesco Resource is hiring: Accounting Coordinator in Aiken

Hours: M-F 8a-5p Temp to Perm Position Overview This role is responsible for performing a variety of costing and inventory activities within a manufacturing environment. The position requires a solid understanding of cost accounting principles, manufacturing processes, U.S. GAAP, and SAP best practices. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional who demonstrates strong initiative and a desire to contribute to a successful and growing organization. Major Job Responsibilities Assist in the monthly closing and reporting process using SAP. Classify and report production costs, including material, labor, and overhead/burden. Support monthly variance analysis related to production costs and departmental expenses. Assist in the execution of annual physical inventory counts. Reconcile cycle count discrepancies and ensure proper adjustments. Support internal and external audits, providing documentation and analysis as needed. Perform additional related duties as assigned. Recommended Experience, Education & Technical Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting required. Manufacturing cost accounting experience strongly preferred. SAP experience is a significant plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables, etc.).
