We are seeking a highly experienced
Staff Software Engineer
to lead the design, development, and integration of advanced automotive software solutions. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams and customers to architect and deliver high‑quality solutions supporting ADAS validation and simulation platforms. You will act as a technical leader and subject‑matter expert across our Arene product offerings, helping shape the future of automotive software.
What you need / Qualifications:
Proven experience leading the architecture and design of complex automotive software systems.
Strong proficiency in
modern C++
for embedded and automotive platforms.
Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring experience.
Hands‑on experience with system integration across hardware, software, and simulation environments.
Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to debug and optimize complex systems.
Experience improving software development processes and advocating engineering best practices.
Knowledge of automotive standards and best practices, including
ISO 26262
(Functional Safety)
and
AUTOSAR .
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of
AUTOSAR Classic and/or Adaptive
architectures.
Experience with
in‑vehicle infotainment (IVI)
systems.
Familiarity with embedded system performance optimization.
Proficiency with modern development tools such as
Git, JIRA, and Jenkins .
Passion for the automotive industry and a desire to help shape the future of mobility.
What you’ll do:
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define software architectures and design scalable, high‑performance solutions tailored to customer and automotive industry needs.
Lead the architectural design of complex software components for automotive systems.
Technical Leadership
Provide technical leadership throughout the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design through deployment and support.
Mentor and guide software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, quality, and engineering excellence.
Software Development & Integration
Develop modular, scalable solutions in modern C++ (C++11/14/17/20) to test and validate virtual ECUs.
Integrate customer ADAS software stacks with Arene validation products.
Integrate internal and external vehicle and environment simulation programs.
Work closely with hardware, systems engineering, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless software integration.
Analyze and resolve complex software defects and performance issues efficiently.
Documentation & Best Practices
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and best practices.
Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, including code reviews, testing strategies, and CI/CD pipelines.
Subject Matter Expertise
Serve as a subject‑matter expert across Arene product offerings.
Provide expert consultation and technical support to clients, ensuring successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
