Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR) – On‑Site (Carpentersville, IL)
Join E‑Therapy as an On‑Site School Occupational Therapist. We provide evidence‑based therapy to students in PreK‑12 schools, helping them achieve developmental, educational, and functional goals. The position starts ASAP for the 2025/26 school year, with 22.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day) at a competitive rate starting at $44/hour (commensurate with experience). Position Details
Start Date: As soon as possible (2025/26 school year) Hours: Part‑time, 22.5 hrs/week (7.5 hrs/day) Grade Levels: Early Childhood, blended and self‑contained classrooms Location: 100% On‑site in Carpentersville, IL Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students’ motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities. Develop individualized treatment plans and goals with students, parents, and school staff. Implement evidence‑based interventions to address specific student needs. Monitor and document progress, adjusting plans as needed. Provide consultation and support to teachers and staff to promote student participation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for holistic student support. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to education plans. Maintain accurate documentation of sessions, progress reports, and required paperwork. Qualifications
Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field. Valid state license as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice. Registered with the National Board Certification (NBCOT). Passion for working with K‑12 students and experience in school or pediatric settings. Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques used in pediatric OT. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem‑solving, attention to detail, and computer skills (email, Microsoft Teams). Knowledge of sensory integration, handwriting support, and other therapeutic modalities (preferred). Benefits
