Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician‑led multispecialty practice seeking a full‑time physician to practice within Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center Boise. The qualified candidate will be responsible for all aspects of a traditional Comprehensive Pain & Spine clinic and associated in‑clinic and in‑hospital interventional pain & spine procedures. The candidate will commit to and demonstrate a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care.
Responsibilities Full‑time weekday schedule. Full participation in a multidisciplinary team: Inpatient Pain APP team; Level II Trauma Center; ED; 2 APPs; Clinical psychology; PM&R clinic; suite procedure room and staff.
Requirements
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
Successful completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency program; board certification through the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) (or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment); or successful completion of an accredited physiatry residency program; board certification through the American Board of Physiatry (ABP) (or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment); and successful completion of an interventional spine fellowship.
Valid controlled substance registration with the Idaho Board of Pharmacy and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
Two years' experience preferred.
Obtain Idaho medical licensure and granting of privileges at SARMC‑Boise and other health system affiliated hospitals as needed.
