Job Details We are seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientist to join our dynamic healthcare team in Pumpkin Center, CA. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases by conducting and analyzing laboratory tests. This role requires precision, accuracy, and a commitment to patient care in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
Responsibilities
Perform complex medical laboratory tests for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases.
Prepare and analyze samples such as blood, urine, and tissue for testing.
Operate and maintain sophisticated laboratory equipment, including microscopes and cell counters.
Implement, evaluate, and improve laboratory procedures and techniques for optimum patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of tests performed and interpret results.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to discuss test results and develop treatment plans.
Adhere to safety and infection control procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
College degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field.
Valid California license as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
Proficiency in automated and manual testing procedures.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Understanding of patient confidentiality obligations and standards.
Proficiency in using clinical information management systems.
