Position Description Eastman Health and Rehab Center is seeking motivated, compassionate individuals to provide residents with routine daily nursing care delivered in a compassionate attitude and in accordance with our nursing care procedures and philosophies.
Responsibilities and Purpose
Provide bedside care.
Prepare and administer injections and/or enemas.
Collect samples and monitor catheters.
Provide wound care.
Obtain and administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
Ensure the resident’s chart is current.
Observe residents and record significant conditions and reactions. Notify appropriate parties of changes in condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and incidents.
Take vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess the condition of residents.
Keep residents’ family and physician informed of any changes in behavior, medications, or health conditions.
Modify residents’ care plan, care directives, Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and Nurse Aide flow sheets in conjunction with changes in condition.
Desired Experience and Education
Current and unencumbered Georgia Registered Nurse License (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Current BLS CPR card
