PACU/Preop Registered Nurse at Novant Health

Sign‑on bonus up to $10,000 and relocation assistance up to $7,500.
Schedule and Location
Part‑time (32 hours). Eligible for full‑time benefits.
Monday‑Friday, 9:30 A‑6:00 P (four 8‑hour shifts). Occasional weeknight and weekend call.
Location: Medical Park Hospital – 1950 South Hawthorne Road, Winston‑Salem, North Carolina.
Unit Overview
Prepping and recovering patients for a range of procedures.
Facility has 11 ORs, 11 pre‑op bays and 8 PACU bays.
Responsibilities
Prepare patients for surgery and monitor them through postoperative recovery.
Provide nursing care consistent with best practices and facility standards.
Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure patient safety.
Requirements
Past critical care experience.
High School Diploma or GED required; 4‑year/Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing program required.
One year of relevant nursing experience.
Current RN licensure in North Carolina.
Licensure and Certification
Current RN license in the appropriate state.
If your RN license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and not licensed elsewhere, completion of a board‑approved refresher course is required prior to reactivation.
