The Department of Respiratory Care at NM CDH puts patients first using an evidence-based practice model. The team consistently advocates for treatments that add value and improve outcomes.
Respiratory Care Practitioner II
reflects our mission and values, complies with all policies and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
Effectively interact with patient, significant others, and other health team members while providing care within scope of training.
Meet and maintain requirements of an RCP II.
Qualifications
Required
Recent acute care hospital clinical experience with multiple age populations including some pediatrics.
If an internal promotion, must meet all dept. RCP I and II requirements.
High school graduate or equivalent.
Graduate of an AMA/Committee for Accreditation Respiratory Therapy Program.
CERT CRT, LIC RCP, CERT BLS.
Preferred
2+ years of recent pediatric acute care experience.
Associate’s degree or higher.
CERT PALS, REG RRT, CERT NRP, CERT ACLS.
