Ed Morse is currently seeking a
Title Clerk
to join our team!
Responsibilities
Processes all new and used vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled.
Prepares tax and title documents.
Submits all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles or from receiving dealership.
Checks for accuracy in the application and ensures that all information is complete.
Maintains a system to verify out-of-state titles.
Process payments made to titling agencies.
Process duplicate title requests in Missouri and additional states, as necessary.
Make lien payoffs.
Post car deals.
Post F & I products sold.
Process end of month payments.
Process vehicle state reports.
Record and maintain new and used inventory in Dealer Management System.
Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
CDK experience preferred.
Title work experience preferred.
Familiarity with DMV rules and requirements.
Knowledge of loan origination functions mandatory.
Knowledge of State Tax Codes.
Microsoft Office experience preferred.
Ability to speak effectively in front of groups of customers as well as employees.
Must successfully complete a background and drug screening.
