USPI Foundation Surgical Hospital of San Antonio is seeking a motivated
RN Med/Surg
to join our team. We have 20 private suites and 5 OR rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Bariatric, Orthopedic, General, Neuro/Spine, ENT, Pain, Urology.
Job Summary The Post Surgical Unit RN / MED‑SURG RN has the responsibility to plan, direct, organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for post‑surgical patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care. He/she ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care, maintains compliance with professional nursing, The Joint Commission, and all Federal and State standards of care. The Post Surgical Unit RN is assigned to respond to patients presenting to the facility with a healthcare need and will provide the Medical Screening Exam as delegated by the Medical Executive Committee.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited RN school of nursing
At least one (1) year’s experience as an RN in a hospital Medical/Surgery or ICU unit (preferred)
RN, current in the State of Texas
BLS, ACLS certification
Seniority Level Entry level
