Direct Support Professional

Location & Compensation
Location: Pilesgrove, NJ
Starting salary: $20.00 per hour, increasing with education and experience
Responsibilities
Ensure individuals in the day program remain safe and healthy
Supervise, coach, and assist individuals in achieving daily living skills such as food preparation, cooking, cleaning, and shopping
Plan, implement, and document programs that meet the social, emotional, physical, and personal needs of individuals
Plan and participate in community‑based jobs, volunteer opportunities, and outings for individuals
Schedule and transport individuals to and from the day program
Qualifications
Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
Valid non‑provisional driver’s license
18 years of age or older (required)
Availability to attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays
Empathetic, team‑oriented approach to care
