Responsibilities
Efficiently assemble and maintain customer and store equipment, including bicycles, exercise machines, snowboards, skis, hockey skates and sticks, baseball gloves and bats, golf clubs, racquet sports gear, paintball markers and other merchandise in a Scheels Store.
Fill CO₂ and compressed air tanks for paintball markers safely.
Maintain accurate and detailed records for store and customer equipment.
Ensure a clean and professional environment.
Assist with delivering and loading customer equipment and merchandise to the store and to customer residences.
Speak for extended periods to customers or associates.
Apply exceptional problem‑solving and analytical skills.
Read and interpret safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
Write reports and speak effectively before groups of customers and associates.
Maintain a professional appearance and attitude, contributing to a positive team atmosphere and treating others with respect and consideration while following Scheels policies and procedures.
Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Apply basic mathematical equations.
Work a varied schedule that includes weekends, evenings, holidays, and scheduled training meetings.
Complete other duties as assigned by leadership.
Promote the Scheels Visa Rewards card and clearly explain all benefits.

Physical Requirements / Lifting Requirements Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation. Very heavy work: occasional exertion in excess of 100 pounds, frequent exertion in excess of 50 pounds, and constant exertion in excess of 20 pounds to move objects. Scheels cares about health and safety; associates are expected to follow all safety procedures to minimize injury risk.
Schedule Must be flexible to work the assigned schedule between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Sunday. Hours may include varied evenings, weekends and holidays.
