Job Description As the Maintenance Technician your chief responsibility will be to preserve the excellent condition and operational readiness of our facility. This will include:
Conduct diagnostic assessments, scheduling, and performing repairs and maintenance on all plant equipment.
Develop preventative maintenance procedures.
Document completed work orders and perform other assignments to ensure a safe, clean, healthy, and efficient facility.
Physical Requirements
Ability to maneuver around heavy equipment including bending, climbing, crawling, manual dexterity, frequently lifting and carrying objects weighing approximately 40 pounds.
Qualifications Basic Requirement:
High school diploma or GED.
Mechanically inclined, willingness to learn.
By law, you must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred Requirements
Associate degree from a two‑year college or technical school in a related field.
Minimum 2 years of maintenance work experience including pumps, gear boxes, and loader machinery.
Knowledge of hazardous material handling and OSHA training.
Ability to communicate in English.
The successful candidate will be required to pass a physical, drug test, and DEA background check.
