Outpatient Mental Health Clinical Therapist (LCSW, LMSW, PLPC, LPC)

Work Hours:
Choose either a four‑day or five‑day week. Four‑day schedule: 10‑hour days (~7:30 a–6 p) weekdays only (effective March 2025). Five‑day schedule: 8‑hour days (~7:30 a–4 p) weekdays only.
Pay Range:
$47,500 - $53,000 – Provisional Licensed Staff (LMSW / PLPC)
$53,000 - $58,000 – Fully Licensed Staff (LCSW / LPC)
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
Must currently hold or be eligible to obtain a valid provisional therapy or counseling license (LMSW / PLPC).
Preference for full licensure (LCSW / LPC).
Two years’ experience in a mental health setting preferred.
Position requires a valid driver’s license, proof of continuous auto insurance, and an acceptable driving record as outlined by agency policy.
Outpatient Program The outpatient program provides counseling for adults and children at all clinic locations. Licensed counselors assist individuals, couples, families, and groups experiencing life transitions as well as more chronic and severe emotional problems.
Therapist Responsibilities As a Therapist, you will provide evaluation and treatment for children, adults, and families. Populations served span the life cycle with a range of mental health needs from situational stressors to chronic conditions such as schizophrenia, bipolar, depression, and anxiety. Typical caseload sizes are 80–85 clients. Commonly used treatment modalities are CBT and Motivational Interviewing.
Support staff handles scheduling, credentialing, and billing. Therapists are part of a multidisciplinary treatment team to best support clients.
Essential Functions
Conduct individual, family, and/or group therapy with assigned clients.
Complete intakes, assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and the DLA‑20 as required per agency standards.
Attend appropriate staffing, treatment planning, record, and peer review meetings associated with clinical duties.
Document according to clinical policies and procedures, DMH, CARF, and any other federal or state program standards.
Maintain appropriate license by completing CE requirements and renewing the license.
Follow up on no‑show appointments.
Coordinate services with other providers internally and externally.
