Industry Manager, New Verticals
A role in DoorDash’s Enterprise Ad Sales Team focused on building an industry‑leading ads and promotions business across DoorDash's advertising offering.
About The Team The Enterprise Ad Sales Team is responsible for the marketing vision, development, and growth of our largest advertising partnerships.
Responsibilities
Grow and lead a sales team focused on well‑known brands within retail, grocery, and convenience categories.
Work cross‑functionally to evolve the go‑to‑market motion that meets and exceeds mutual goals of advertiser audiences and DoorDash.
Operate entrepreneurially while building on the foundation built by existing teams.
Deliver on ambitious goals in a high‑speed environment, building off of the initial infrastructure from existing sales teams.
Lead the team on key client pitches from strategy/planning through to execution.
Develop senior stakeholder relationships with key client decision makers through trust and challenger selling to unlock mutual value.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with the New Verticals Business Development team to develop ads & promotions strategies that align with core merchant growth on the DoorDash marketplace.
Qualifications
Minimum 2+ years managing a sales team effectively and leading team performance management to meet and exceed goals.
Consultative seller with significant experience in digital media or adjacent performance‑oriented industries.
Experience establishing and scaling sales teams through hyper‑growth phases; a builder at heart.
Proven track record of partnering successfully with cross‑functional teams.
Compensation Base salary localized by work location. Total on‑target earnings include base salary, equity grants, and sales commission.
Pay range:
$122,400—$180,000 USD
(base) and
$204,000—$300,000 USD
(total on‑target earnings).
