Base pay range $18.00/hr - $22.00/hr
Job Duties / General Requirements This position is synonymous with a “Journeyman” position in the trades. It requires 5 or more years of experience and mastery knowledge of piping and wet‑side HVAC applications. A Pipefitter III works unsupervised, repairs and replaces piping systems, pipe supports, and equipment for heating and cooling commercial and industrial applications, and performs equipment startups and check‑outs.
In‑depth knowledge of wet‑side commercial applications and design.
Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain HVAC piping systems.
Repair and replace piping systems, pipe supports, and equipment for heating/cooling commercial and industrial applications.
Equipment start‑up and check‑out.
Document work by completing paperwork and backup documentation.
5+ years’ experience.
Current journeyman license or ability to obtain one.
OSHA training; uphold high standards of safety at all times.
Experience with blueprint reading and layout.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multi‑task and have excellent follow‑up skills both internally and externally.
Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting up to 50 pounds, frequent bending and lifting, standing and walking over uneven terrain or in confined spaces, and safely climbing ladders.
