Electromechanical Technician I – Valmont Industries, Inc.

Location: 28800 Ida St, Valley, NE 68064-8016

Compensation Base pay: $32.06 per hour ($30.06 per hour + $2.00 per hour shift differential for 2nd and 3rd Shift)

Sign-on Bonus $5,000 for a qualified EMT I for Structures

Shifts Available

1st Shift – Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

2nd Shift – Monday to Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

3rd Shift – Sunday to Thursday, 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

What You'll Do This role is ideal for mechanically and electrically minded professionals who enjoy solving problems and keeping systems running smoothly. You’ll work with a team that values precision, performance, and accountability.

Your Responsibilities Include

Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems

Diagnosing and repairing motors, drives, relays, sensors, and controllers

Reading and interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals

Performing preventive and corrective maintenance

Supporting production operations and equipment efficiency

Following all safety protocols and contributing to a safe work environment

Ideal Candidates Have

Basic experience or technical training in electrical and mechanical maintenance

Familiarity with industrial tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

The ability to read schematics or technical documentation

A desire to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment

High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred
