Note: Eligibility for benefits may vary by location. Responsibilities

You will perform routine preventative maintenance tasks on various hospital systems and equipment as required to assure optimum efficiency, reliability and safety.

You will maintain full compliance with OSHA lock out / tag out safety practices.

You will consistently utilize approved PPE for safety as required.

You will label equipment out of service and inform staff of backup equipment in a timely manner.

You will properly operate and respond to use of two‑way radio communications in a timely manner.

You will assist other department staff and accept additional responsibilities as given by the department manager.

Qualifications

Competent in use of various hand tools, diagnostic and repair equipment.

Ability to interpret blueprints/drawings.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.

Good written/oral communication skills.

Familiar with basic NFPA, ASRAE Standards and the ability to learn JCAHO Standards and develop and implement new policies.

Good computer system skills required.

High school diploma or GED required.

A valid Tennessee driver’s license required.

Three years minimum healthcare or equivalent experience required.
