Job Description The Senior Audit Accountant will report directly to the Audit Manager and will be responsible for assisting with financial statement, program, and internal audits of the organization. The selected individual will be a key point of contact with various external auditors. This role’s primary responsibilities are to collect and review requested information, provide account analyses, and assist with audit resolution.
Qualifications
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required, including an understanding of how to develop, troubleshoot, and maintain macros.
Strong analytical skills, finely tuned attention to detail, and a continuous-improvement mindset.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and highly developed interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of Governmental and/or Not-for-Profit Accounting and Federal Grant compliance requirements is preferred.
Education/License Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
3-5 years of accounting experience is preferred.
CPA license preferred but not required.
Additional Information Salary Range $74,000 - $103,000
