Position Overview ISPA Technology LLC is seeking a highly motivated Senior Systems Engineer to provide comprehensive engineering support to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division (NSWC PCD). This role offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting‑edge naval engineering efforts, advancing the design, safety, and operational performance of mission‑critical systems.

Key Responsibilities The Senior Systems Engineer will perform, and direct research and development efforts focused on Naval programs, developing innovative engineering concepts and design solutions. Responsibilities include conducting analyses, trade studies, modeling, and simulations to evaluate technical challenges and alternatives, utilizing Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as MagicDraw. The role involves supporting risk management, documentation, and interface control, as well as reviewing designs, drawings, and engineering change proposals to ensure compliance with Navy standards and engineering best practices. The candidate will assist in developing key program documents including the Systems Engineering Plan (SEP), Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP), and Configuration Management (CM) Plans, while supporting system safety and Operational Risk Management (ORM) assessments. Additionally, the position includes designing, fabricating, and testing hardware prototypes and integrated UMS systems to support government test and evaluation activities.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

5+ years of relevant experience supporting defense research, design, and engineering programs.

Experience with Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and modeling tools such as MagicDraw or Cameo.

Demonstrated ability to perform trade studies, simulations, and systems analysis.

Strong understanding of DoD systems engineering processes and documentation standards.
