This position will report to the Director of Customer Engineering within the Commercial team. As a Customer Engineer, you will play a hands‑on role in enabling our customers to use our cutting‑edge network products. You’ll be on the front line of connectivity innovation, working closely with both internal engineering teams and customers to bring new datacenter networking products to market. Responsibilities

Bring product and solution technical knowledge into pre‑sales customer meetings. Define detailed test plans and proof‑of‑concept plans in support of customer evaluations. Extend functionality of software reference applications to meet specific customer needs. Support customer hardware and software development activities; answer questions, recreate and debug functionality issues. Conduct technical trainings and workshops. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve design or product‑related issues. Cross‑functional communication with Marketing, Sales and R&D. Create and maintain technical documentation. Provide ongoing post‑sales technical support. Minimum Qualifications

B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related discipline. 8+ years of hands‑on Ethernet networking experience. 8+ years of programming experience in one or more programming languages. Knowledge and experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 IP protocols and Linux networking. Familiarity with high‑performance data center technologies including RDMA, DPDK, SPDK, NVMe. Customer service‑oriented mindset and strong communication skills, including fluency in English (written and verbal). Excellent problem‑solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Energized by a dynamic and demanding start‑up environment. Ability to support occasional travel. Things that would differentiate you from other candidates

Experience with SW/SDK for high‑speed switches, such as Intel (Tofino), Broadcom Prestige), Cisco (Silicon One or other proprietary switch ASICs), etc. Experience with IPUs/DPUs/smartNICs and associated SDKs. Experience working with cloud‑native networking technologies such as Kubernetes CNI plugins (e.g., Calico, Cilium), and overlay networks (e.g., VXLAN, Open vSwitch). Expert in diagnosing performance and connectivity issues using tools like tcpdump, wireshark, and netstat. Comfortable managing multiple projects and resolving technical issues under tight timelines.
