Job Summary The Technical Support Engineer provides technical engineering support to various departments within HCFA, predominantly to the Sales Department. This position will require daily communication with HCFA Sales Teams, dealer salesmen, and the HC Factory in China, which may require regular evening communication due to time differences. Some domestic travel (~10%) may be required to visit dealers and customer applications. The role will use engineering experience to guide the Sales Team on product specifications and capabilities. This position is intended to evolve into a Subject Matter Expert with growth opportunities in Product Management.
Responsibilities
Daily communication with internal and external customers.
Research technical documents.
Review technical specifications.
Competitive studies.
Interpret engineering drawings.
Regulatory compliance research.
Residual capacity calculations for data plates.
Project management opportunities.
Available for after-hour calls with the factory engineers as needed.
Duties assigned in addition as is required.
Qualifications
Technical degree in a related field, or related experience.
3-5 years of engineering experience designing mobile equipment.
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Positive demeanor and ability to represent HCFA professionally.
Ability to achieve and maintain forklift certification.
