Job Overview This position will provide technical leadership and guidance to the project, development and operation teams, enabling multi‑layered architecture for Tech4People/HR IT applications. You will collaborate closely with Enterprise Architects, Subject Matter Experts and technical development teams to implement technology solutions that adhere to industry standards.

Responsibilities

Understand and adopt IT technologies and standards in accordance with enterprise architecture direction. Contribute to regional and global architectural initiatives such as application consolidation, cloud migration, FOSS, API integration and more.

Create project proposals, evaluate new technologies, develop proof of concepts and manage medium‑to‑large technology projects. Manage application rollout, integrations and harmonization for the NAFTA region (50%).

Provide technical leadership to the project team for overall solution design, implementation of software systems and related products. Research systems, software and technical issues, ensuring up‑to‑date technologies and avoiding obsolescence.

Prepare detailed flow charts and diagrams, maintain current system documentation, and follow published processes—including cybersecurity and data compliance (30%).

Guide development teams during analysis, development and testing; present technical updates to governance boards. Oversee operational support for HR‑IT systems and integrations. Manage geographically dispersed teams, coordinate on‑site and offshore resources, and resolve identified risks and issues (20%).

Other Responsibilities

Define application architecture and technology trends for T4P/HR IT systems.

Provide technical guidance on system updates, integration, proposals and solutions.

Interact with vendors for system‑related products, tools selection and solution implementation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Business Practices or related field.

5–7 years of experience in HR Information Systems, application development & testing, architecture design, system integration, operation support, and project management.

Hands‑on experience with HRIS, application integration, API development and information security.

Desire knowledge of Workday HCM (desired).

Strong communication, facilitation and conflict resolution skills.

Proven ability to collaborate with business partners to define needs and address issues.

Solid knowledge of HRIS, SDLC, API, and cloud technologies.

Experience with application architecture and system integrations.

Knowledge of traditional project management and Agile methodologies, and leading virtual teams.

Experience with IT security protocols and compliance requirements.

Excellent analytical and strategic thinking, result‑driven and detail‑oriented.

Comfortable managing multiple deliverables under high‑pressure situations.

Understanding of HR business processes and system procedures.

Knowledge of agency/vendor and budget management.

Preferred Skills

Experience with payroll/benefit & compensation applications such as Ceridian Dayforce.
