Serve as a strategic partner to plant leadership, aligning HR strategies with short and long‑term business objectives. Demonstrate expertise in union relations, effectively managing relationships and navigating complex labor dynamics. Foster a culture of integrity, transparency, and trust, promoting employee engagement and productivity. Administer and support all GE Appliances HR policies and initiatives, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. Implement HR strategies and programs that align with organizational goals and business strategy. Collaborate with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to identify talent needs, attract top‑tier candidates, and support effective onboarding. Provide guidance on employee relations matters, including performance management, grievance processes, conflict resolution, and investigations. Support and lead initiatives promoting a healthy and safe work environment. Drive career development and employee engagement initiatives, offering coaching and guidance on training and development opportunities. Collaborate with the Compensation team and business leaders on compensation strategy and salary planning, ensuring competitive and fair practices. Lead organizational design, staffing, employee development, and succession planning efforts. Actively coach and develop employees, fostering a continuous improvement mindset focused on idea generation and problem‑solving. Drive initiatives to minimize attrition and enhance employee retention. Perform other related duties as needed. What You’ll Bring to Our Team
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Extensive experience in HR management, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Proven expertise in union relations and labor law compliance. Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build trust and foster a culture of integrity and transparency. Experience with change management and organizational development. Proficiency in HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Our Culture
