We’re searching for a Certified Sterile Processing Technician, someone who works well in a fast‑paced setting. In this position you will provide efficient processing of instruments and sterilization throughout the hospital. Responsibilities
Processes decontaminated medical devices as they are received, according to established priorities, IFUs and best practices. Receives instruments from the decontamination area and processes appropriately. Performs physical and environmental duties on a routine daily basis, including cleaning workspaces, instrument rooms, cabinets, emptying biohazard waste, monitoring sterilizers and checking environmental monitors. Completes sterilization processes. Performs high‑level disinfection. Performs other duties as assigned, including other essential instrument room duties. Qualifications & Requirements
Preferred Education: High School Diploma or GED. License Required: CRCST – Certified Sterile Processing Technician by the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association, OR CSPDT – Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician by the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution.
