Senior Ultrasound Clinical Account Specialist – Cardiac Sonographer (Oklahoma City, OK / Tulsa, OK / Wichita, KS) Senior Ultrasound Clinical Account Specialist (ULS CAS) provides technical and clinical product support to health care providers including Electrophysiology (EP) physicians, Interventional Cardiologists (IC) and laboratory staff for electrophysiology diagnostic and therapeutic catheters and systems – with an emphasis on the AcuNav™ and SOUNDSTAR™ catheters – to enable practitioners to perform advanced cardiac ablation and interventional procedures.

Key responsibilities include providing expert clinical product and technical assistance and training, identifying sales opportunities, maintaining relationships, and collaborating with internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

Provide expert clinical product and technical assistance and training to EP/IC physicians and staff on the effective use of AcuNav™ and SOUNDSTAR™ catheters.

Provide expert clinical product and technical assistance and training to physicians and EP Lab Staff on electrophysiology systems and catheter equipment (e.g., CARTO® System, CARTOSOUND™, CARTOMERGE™, Stockert RF generator) for case procedures.

Educate customers on all electrophysiology products to optimize effective usage by providing technical and clinical information and in‑service training.

Use consultative selling techniques to identify potential sales opportunities within the account.

Create awareness of electrophysiology solutions and facilitate Territory Sales Manager contact with key decision makers.

Maximize customer case support capability through proper planning and scheduling techniques.

Drive collaboration and maintain consistent, open lines of communication across internal partners and external partners.

Develop and share best practices with field sales and service colleagues and grow mutually beneficial customer relationships within and beyond the EP/IC lab.

Stay current on company product instructions for use (IFU), best practices, technical troubleshooting, and relevant scientific literature.

Prioritize requests in a high‑stress environment while maintaining composure and problem‑solving focus.

Engage in diagnostic dialogue with stakeholders and formulate solutions based on dialogue and input.

Provide mentoring for new electrophysiology commercial team members as requested.

Perform other duties assigned as needed.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or four years of relevant professional work/military experience.

Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical echocardiography lab.

Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification in adult or pediatric echocardiography.

Advanced clinical ultrasound and echocardiography knowledge of technology, advancements and business landscape.

Clinical knowledge of healthcare industry, disease states, and therapeutic and institutional trends.

Valid driver’s license issued in the United States.

Willingness to travel up to 40% overnight locally, regionally, and nationally, sometimes on short notice.

Ability to sit for extended periods in a hospital laboratory setting, attend live patient cases, and wear protective gear.

May be required to lift up to 60 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

Electrophysiology/Cath Lab or EP/Cardiovascular Device Industry experience.

Industry certifications such as CEPS (IBHRE), RCES/RCIS.

Experience with complex technical systems in a critical patient care setting.

Strong communication skills with all levels of patient care team.

Self‑starter who performs well with autonomy and can be flexible in a dynamic environment.

Problem‑solver who can think critically under high pressure.

Receptive to constructive feedback and able to collaborate in a team environment.

Ability to analyze large data sets and translate information into actionable insights.

Hunger for learning and building new skills.

Travel & Work Conditions Requires up to 40% travel including overnight, regional and national. Periods in a hospital laboratory setting attending live patient cases. Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
