What You’ll Do
Oversee, observe, and supervise employees entering and exiting the building.
Walk through and around the exterior of the entire facility conducting Safety/Hazard/Security audits.
Continually monitor the hazard materials storeroom and clean up spills.
Oversee and supervise the disposition of damaged items, load items onto push carts, and move them to a safe location.
Walk throughout the facility and conduct general investigations, inventory counts and cycle counts.Use computers and office equipment.
Read Standard Operating Procedures, respond to fire/security alarms and phones, and monitor CCTV.
Provide training to other employees.
Perform housekeeping duties, keep floors clean, and keep work areas neat and clean.
What You Need To Succeed
Be a safety champion by promoting a safe and productive workplace through your own actions, including the proper use of PPE, safe operation of powered equipment and safe lifting techniques.
Be an active participant in contributing to a successful safety culture in the facility.
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability and willingness to work non‑traditional shifts and hours.
Experience with CCTV preferred.
Degree in Criminal Justice or 3–5 years of practical experience in Security, Loss Prevention or Law Enforcement Field preferred.
Able to work a varied schedule to include early mornings, swing shift, nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary.
CPR/First Aide Certified or able to obtain certification through company provided training.
