Property Administrator – CBRE – Houston, TX
Join CBRE to administer property operations at Heritage Plaza, a 53‑story Class A office tower in downtown Houston. The role is on‑site, Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm.
What You’ll Do
Review and process vendor invoices, billings, expense reports, accounts receivables and contract execution process.
Manage and track property work orders via the property work order system and ensure Service Level Agreements are adhered to, reporting to management.
Facilitate building work order processing and reporting to the property management team.
Verify the database of management and leasing contract information is accurate and up to date.
Review data integrity across systems.
Ensure compliance with company policy, real estate law, and state and federal guidelines.
Communicate best practices, policies, procedures, and initiatives to support operations.
Train and support onboarding of new team members on policies, procedures, processes, administration and governance.
Participate in the Asset Services internal audit process as needed.
Work with senior management to improve operational compliance.
Identify opportunities to improve service delivery to customers with the property management team.
Gather and analyze data to identify and tackle complex problems that arise with little or no precedent; recommend new techniques as appropriate.
Support your team and other teams whose work activities are closely related.
Suggest improvements to existing processes and solutions to improve team efficiency.
Other duties as directed by property leaders.
What You’ll Need
High School Diploma or GED with 3‑4 years of job‑related experience.
A comprehensive understanding of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within the job function.
Experience with property accounting systems, including Yardi and P2P, preferred.
Ability to evaluate and communicate unusual and/or complex content in a concise and logical way.
In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and advanced organizational skills.
Advanced math skills; ability to calculate percentages, discounts, and markups.
