Real Estate Associate – Jacksonville, FL
Join Burr & Forman as a Real Estate Associate. This role focuses on commercial real estate acquisition, disposition, tenant leasing, and advisory work for a client base in Jacksonville and beyond. The position requires a J.D. degree, active Florida Bar membership, and 3-10 years of commercial real estate experience handling acquisitions, dispositions, development, and secured transaction work in a team environment.
Responsibilities
Negotiate and structure commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and development transactions from contract through closing.
Conduct due diligence, market analysis, financial modeling and prepare transaction documents and reports.
Represent lenders in secured financing and real estate transaction work.
Advise clients on tenant leasing, lease structuring and related matters.
Collaborate with internal counsel and support staff on complex engagements.
Qualifications
J.D. degree and licensed admission in Florida.
3-10 years of commercial real estate experience with handling acquisitions, dispositions, development and secured transaction work.
Strong research, writing, organization and analytical skills.
Excellent academic credentials and strong collegiality.
Leasing experience an added benefit but not required.
