Intuit is seeking Tax Experts for the upcoming tax season. If you have an active PTIN and an unrestricted credential (CPA/EA/Practicing Attorney), we would love to connect with you!
Overview Intuit provides a remote, customer‑facing role where you help our customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products. Your work will involve providing tax advice, full‑service return preparation, tax calculations, and managing product/software inquiries to advance our goal of “Powering Prosperity Around the World.”

What You Will Do In this role, you will:
Help customers complete their taxes via Intuit TurboTax products.
Provide tax advice, full-service return preparation, tax calculations, and manage product/software inquiries.
Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to deliver correct answers in everyday language.
Conduct virtual, customer‑facing interactions using video communication software and document interactions to maintain accurate records.
Who You Are
At least 2 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns using commercial tax preparation software.
Hold an active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws, plus an active PTIN.
Fluency in English and Spanish (written & spoken).
Passionate about helping clients navigate tax complexities and committed to enhancing our brand by delighting customers.
Excellent customer service skills; excited to interact with customers through video and audio tools in a professional, friendly, and confident manner.
What You Need
Reliable internet connection that meets Intuit Security criteria.
Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, spread across at least three days.
Compensation Intuit offers a competitive compensation package that includes a performance‑based base pay and additional rewards such as cash bonus and equity. Base pay ranges by region (example ranges shown below; specific amounts may vary by location and experience):
Bay Area, CA: $28.80 – $36.50 /hr
Southern California: $28.80 – $36.50 /hr
Colorado: $27.50 – $34.80 /hr
Hawaii: $28.80 – $36.50 /hr
Illinois: $27.50 – $34.80 /hr
Maryland: $27.50 – $34.80 /hr
Massachusetts: $28.80 – $36.50 /hr
Minnesota: $24.80 – $30.30 /hr
New Jersey: $28.80 – $36.50 /hr
