About Cover‑More Europe This role is part of the Cover‑More Europe team, which provides insurance solutions across travel, car hire, specialty, and pet sectors in the United Kingdom, Ireland and the rest of Europe. For more than twenty years, we have delivered policies through our distribution partnerships, focusing on simple and seamless customer experiences and a genuine commitment to protection and care.
What You’ll Be Doing
Act as the go‑to expert for policy wording, ensuring all documents are accurate, compliant, and customer‑friendly.
Review, draft, and update policy wordings in line with regulatory requirements and Zurich Cover‑More standards.
Work with the underwriting team on the transfer of an existing portfolio, maintaining strong relationships with business partners, customers, and internal teams.
Identify and address risks or issues during the transition, ensuring continuity of cover and service.
Work closely with underwriting, legal, compliance, and product teams to deliver high‑quality outcomes.
Support the development of new products or changes to existing ones, focusing on wording clarity and customer benefit.
Assess competitors’ products in markets by distribution channel.
Review commercial terms, conduct risk, internal underwriting governance.
Align with partnerships and direct sales teams to understand different audiences in different market and ensure delivery of product fit.
Use customer insights to provide direction for product amendments.
What skills and experience you’ll bring on this journey
Proven experience in an assistant or underwriting role, ideally general insurance personal lines within an insurer; broking experience, claims roles, or customer service with touchpoints in multiple markets is also considered.
Familiarity with policy wording reviews.
Willingness to support colleagues, share expertise, and work collaboratively for the best customer outcomes.
Relevant insurance qualifications (or working towards them).
