Position Universal Banker I – Teller & Platform Support in the assigned Community Office located in Penfield, NY.

Key Responsibilities

Perform Teller duties: cash handling, transactions, customer service.

Attend and complete Platform I training to provide a consultative sales process based on customer needs.

Support platform duties on a rotational and as needed basis.

Assist customers with inquiries or service problems.

Build relationships with customers to solicit new business and maintain ongoing business relationships.

Competencies & Qualifications

Notary certification or willingness to obtain as requested.

Ability to build relationships, communicate effectively in verbal and written form.

Sales skills and thorough knowledge of bank products and services.

Knowledge of bank operating policies and procedures.

Proficiency with a PC and associated programs (Microsoft Office).

Success in First Year

Fully proficient in all Teller responsibilities.

Consistently assist customers and resolve service issues.

Establish and nurture customer relationships to generate new business.

Maintain thorough knowledge of all bank products and services.

Follow all operating procedures in the branch (opening/closing, vault cash, secure negotiable documents, order currency and coin, etc.).

Compensation $19.00/hr – $20.00/hr. The actual salary within this range depends on experience, qualifications, skills, level offered and performance expectations.
