Job Description
Administers prescribed medication via inhalation and oxygen therapy according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
Monitors, records, and communicates patient conditions and treatments accurately and timely.
Educates patients and family members about illnesses and clinical interventions.
Adheres to department standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensures patient documentation is accurate and complete.
Cleans and stocks respiratory equipment regularly.
Qualification Requirements High School Grad or Equiv (Required), Technical/Vocational School, Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Emergency Medical Tech Cert (EMT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Licensed Paramedic (PARA) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Physical Therapist (PT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Registered Nurse (RN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, State Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
