Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our ASC team in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will fabricate, assemble, and weld components for industrial weighing systems and related equipment, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety and technical standards. You will work closely with production and engineering teams to deliver reliable, precise products to our customers.
Responsibilities
Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process.
Cut, fabricate, and weld metal parts to customer specifications.
Inspect completed welds to determine structural soundness.
Required Skills / Abilities
Manage time efficiently.
Attention to detail.
Must have a valid driver's license and ability to safely operate a company vehicle on a daily basis.
Essential Functions
Stand for the duration of an 8–10 hour shift.
Lift up to 50 lbs.
Visually inspect completed work.
Respond to audio prompts.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
Education and Experience
1–2 years welding experience.
Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding preferred.
