Paint Process Engineer

Your Job

As a Process Engineer, you are responsible for managing the technical aspects of the paint department to produce quality painted parts. You will be responsible for creating value through process improvement with a clear focus on safety, quality and production. What you Will do in Your Role

Troubleshoot problems that occur during the manufacturing process

Identify and drive strategic initiatives to reduce operating costs and improve efficiency

Lead complex projects in a team-based environment

Identify opportunities for improvement and optimization

Utilize SPC, statistical methods and data analysis to improve production processes

Establish operating parameters processes, conduct optimization experiments and establish best practices and procedures for production

Maintain 5S Standards, shift scrap goals, tool change goals and OEE goals

Complete yield improvement projects

Train, mentor and coach all technicians on technical skills

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Experience troubleshooting paint processes in a manufacturing environment

Engineering or technical experience in a manufacturing environment

What Will Put You Ahead

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

Experience with automation, electrical, or PLCs.

Experience working in the automotive
