Role Overview As part of the Thermal Sciences Practice, you will participate in the investigation and analysis of thermal-fluid/mechanical systems. Responsibilities include:
Performing engineering calculations and analysis
Evaluating mechanical and safety system performance
Utilizing computational techniques such as CFD
Conducting site fieldwork and data collection
Performing laboratory testing and assessments
Preparing proposals, technical reports, and presenting findings to clients
Travel may be required within and outside the U.S.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Legally authorized to work in the United States; no immigration sponsorship necessary
Strong technical background in thermal/fluid systems and CFD
Experience with HVAC and Refrigeration systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Hands‑on experience executing experimental programs
Strong desire and ability to tackle a wide variety of problems

Benefits & Compensation Base salary: USD $135,000 – $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Total compensation includes salary, performance bonuses, 401(k) employer contribution of 7%, and other benefits available to the consulting workforce.
