Staff Optometrist
Are you a skilled and compassionate optometrist looking to make a difference in the lives of patients? Brooks Eye is seeking a dedicated Staff Optometrist to join our team in Plano, TX. As a leading eye care provider, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and are looking for a talented individual to help us achieve this goal.
Daily Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive eye exams and vision tests
Diagnose and treat various eye conditions and diseases
Prescribe and fit contact lenses
Perform visual field testing and pre‑testing procedures
Provide postoperative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries
Required Skills
Doctor of Optometry degree
2‑3 years experience in eye care and ocular disease management
Proficiency in contact lens fitting and prescription dispensing
Knowledge of visual field testing and autorefractor technology
Ability to perform primary eye care and patient recall services
Nice to Have Skills
Experience with LASIK and cataract evaluations
Familiarity with diabetic retinopathy and low vision management
Knowledge of optical coherence tomography and optomap technology
