Anti-Money Laundering Analyst
Base pay range: $30.00/hr - $35.00/hr
Responsibilities • Review customer transactions and account information to identify potentially suspicious activity.
• Conduct AML or financial investigations and prepare Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Apply knowledge of anti-money laundering laws, regulations, and guidelines (BSA, PATRIOT Act, FinCEN, SAR, etc.) to investigations.
• Produce written reports and documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery.
• Interact with internal stakeholders and manage multiple investigative projects simultaneously.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent experience.
1-5 years of experience in reviewing customer transactions for suspicious activity and performing AML investigations.
Experience writing and preparing Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) per regulatory requirements preferred.
CAMS certification is a plus.
Knowledge of money laundering, terrorist financing, and financial crimes regulations (BSA, PATRIOT Act, FinCEN, OFAC, SEC, etc.).
Understanding of senior public figures, money service businesses, wealth management, retail banking, and compliance with those segments preferred.
Excellent organizational, time‑management, communication, research skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Attention to detail, self‑starter, and ability to work independently.
