Human Resources Specialist Series – State of Missouri We are hiring for the Human Resources Specialist Series role within the State of Missouri’s Central District.

Job Summary This position may be filled at one of three levels—entry, intermediate, or senior—based on knowledge, skills, and abilities. The posting reflects an entry salary, with starting salaries of approximately $56,.48 for the intermediate level and $61,249.44 for the senior level. Internal applicants already earning above the posted salary will be evaluated individually to determine final compensation.

Job Location: Central District, 1511 Missouri Blvd., Jefferson City, MO 65102.

What You’ll Do

Recruit and pre‑screen applicants, including affirmative action recruiting; provide general assistance to supervisors on interviewing, hiring, and the promotion or transfer of current employees to authorized vacancies.

Provide information on current policies, procedures, and guidelines; assist supervisors on matters related to the administration of personnel policies, regulations, and department programs to ensure uniform compliance.

Collect, research, summarize, and provide routine analysis of information and data related to personnel policies and human resources programs; prepare responses to questions or requests for information of limited complexity.

Conduct compliance training and employee orientation programs.

All You Need for Success Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources/Personnel Management, Business Administration, or related field, or

Four years of relevant experience.

Special Working Conditions

Job may require occasional statewide or out‑of‑state overnight travel.
